BIOGRAPHY

Jihyun Hwang is the Professor and Head of Hydrogen Energy at the Korea Institute of Energy Technology (KENTECH), based in the United States, with over 22 years of experience across hydrogen, LNG, and oil and gas process engineering. He also serves as the Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform H2Energy@KENTECH and Head of the HYLOT R&D Lab.

Jihyun specialises in cryogenic liquefaction, blue and green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol production, and CCUS, with international project experience spanning South Korea, the United States, the Netherlands, and Germany.
