Jim Powell, President of Transportation Development Group LLC (TDG) and DGTraining.com, has a career spanning executive roles in airline, trucking, and logistics across the U.S. Since the early 1980s, he helped launch DHL’s first cargo airline and developed its FAA-approved HazMat training program. He also led Skyway Freight Systems and other 3PLs. An international author, speaker, and trainer, Jim is Vice Chairman of the Dangerous Goods Trainers Association, contributes to UN discussions on lithium batteries and competency-based training, and his companies have trained 75,000+ students worldwide.
